My name is Jeff Sanders.  I am Head Coach for Minneapolis South Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving Teams.  I have been teaching in Minneapolis for 30 years.  I teach Physical Education at Anne Sullivan Communication Center where I am also Athletic Director and Girls Softball Coach.  I graduated from Austin High School and the University of Minnesota.  I am very lucky to be part of the South High family and now I am excited to a part of the Washburn and Roosevelt families as well.  I am very fortunate to be a part of so many lives from such great swimming and diving programs.

I look forward to meeting everyone!

My name is Edwing Gelvez and I am from Colombia, South America. My parents, sister, and my brother's family still live in South America in Colombia and Brazil, and I live in South Minneapolis with my wife and daughter.  I have loved sports since I was a kid and have been coaching since 2001. I first started coaching while studying the sport science of swimming at university. A few years later, I became a triathlon coach. I moved to The United States in 2008 and began coaching alongside Jeff after my wife, and former swimmer of Jeff's, introduced us. I love being a part of the swimming team and look forward to a successful season.

I work for Minneapolis Public Schools as a support staff at Anishinabe Academy and am completing my graduate degree in elementary education at The College of St. Scholastica. I have been coaching for TMT since 2014 and enjoy working with and watching our swimmers improve as the season progresses. I look forward to meeting all of our new swimmers and their families and getting to know the returning ones better.
